The Power of Our Spiritual Identity

God has given you His righteousness, His Word, and His faith. When you approach Him, He sees Jesus, not you. This paradigm shift is crucial for understanding your position in Christ. Often, when we say, “in the name of Jesus,” we create an unintentional distance between ourselves and Him. This distance can diminish the spiritual power available to us, leading to ineffective warfare against the enemy.

To combat this, we must recognize that when we declare “in the name of Jesus,” we are meant to operate as one with Him. The more we find union with Christ, the more authority we wield. We are not simply individuals attempting to use His name; we embody His Spirit and wear His identity. This means that when we engage in spiritual warfare, it’s not us fighting—it’s Christ in us who delivers the victory.

Understanding this connection empowers us to declare freedom and healing confidently. We don’t need to interview the devil or question his lies; instead, we speak with the authority of Jesus, who has already defeated him. As co-heirs with Christ, we must walk in the truth of our identity and the power that comes from it. When we operate in this truth, creation responds, and our blessings overcome any curse.
