Unfiltered Power: Bearing the Word and Testimony of Jesus Christ

The reason why we give you the word, the unfiltered word of God, as it is, is because I know that is where the power is. If I begin to sweeten the deal, if I try to put a bunch of things on top of it, I reduce the efficacy the word can have in your life, and I’m not being a good person at that time. I may try to be a nice person to you, but goodness comes from God, and I believe the word of God, the way He has given it to mankind, is for the good of mankind because He is a good God. Hallelujah!

So, number one, you become a... what? A record bearer of the word of God. And then it says, "and of the testimony of Jesus Christ." See, John said, "I was a witness of what we have seen." You see, all of us bear a testimony of Jesus Christ. I just told you; I cannot say the word "qualify" because God calls the unqualified, and I am here because of the great things that Jesus did. I am a living testimony of God’s grace. I am a living testimony of divine mercy. I am a living testimony of divine love. I am a living testimony of God’s power in action. I am just not a word bearer; I am a person who has the testimony of Jesus Christ in my life. Hallelujah! I’m not talking to you about a Jesus Christ that I have theoretically understood. No, I am talking to you about a Jesus Christ I have seen, heard, interacted with, experienced, released, and touched. Is that making sense?

Now, I have a testimony of Jesus Christ. See, for someone like St. Melissa to go and have the faith or the boldness even to pray—usually, it’s difficult for you to do these kinds of prayers among family because family knows who you are. They know the good, the bad, and the ugly. You know, if the first thing God says is, "Go back to your home and witness," why? That’s a main test because they know who this person is. For you to lay hands and expect God to move is because you are already bearing a testimony of Jesus in your heart. You know what He has done for you. You are a living witness of God’s power at work in you. Does that make sense?

So, I’m not just a carrier of God’s word. I am also a carrier of the testimony of Jesus Christ. Watch this, let me give you another scripture here: Revelation 1:9. The Bible says, "I, John, who also am your brother and companion in tribulation, and in the kingdom of God, and patience of Jesus Christ, was in the island that is called Patmos for the word of God and for the testimony of Jesus Christ." There are a lot of people who will carry the word of God, but nobody will ever know whether they are Christians or not. They will never manifest the truth. They will never shine the light. They will never bear testimony. See, here he was, in the island of Patmos, in tribulation, in persecution. Why? He was doing two things: He was a record bearer of the word, and number two, he had the testimony of Jesus Christ.

The testimony of Jesus Christ will never make you quiet about Jesus. The moment you begin to have the testimony of Jesus Christ inside of you, people will 100% know who you are. Wherever you go, you cannot but share Jesus Christ. You cannot but... you know, when somebody cuts you deep, you’ll be like, "Jesus begins to ooze out." You know, at times yourself might... ooze out, but you know, you quickly... Ah, that’s not what I should be doing. The Holy Ghost will correct you right then, saying, "Hey, remember who you’ve become," and you’ll be like.
